One of HCK2’s technology clients, NTT DATA Services, was recently awarded two prestigious honors at the 2017 Mergers and Acquisitions Awards presented by D CEO and Association for Corporate Growth.

The recognized leader in global technology services won Deal of the Year in the billion-dollar category for the company’s 2016 acquisition of Dell Services. Additionally, Sylvia Steinheisier, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, was named 2017 Corporate Dealmaker of the Year.

NTT DATA Services first partnered with HCK2 Partners in January 2015. Our teams currently leverage public relations, including media relations, award submissions and thought leadership campaigns, to increase the company’s brand presence in North America.

HCK2 assisted NTT DATA Services’ internal and external communications teams during the company’s $3 billion acquisition of Dell Services. When the intent to acquire was announced, HCK2 garnered more than 520 media placements, which resulted in an audience of 1.4 billion and an advertising equivalency exceeding $6 million.

“It is a true honor for our acquisition to be recognized by D CEO,” said Corie Pierce, Senior Director of Corporate Communications for NTT DATA Services. “HCK2 served as a tremendous resource during the acquisition, and their continued work has been influential in generating greater awareness of the combined company.”

Both NTT DATA Services and Steinheiser received the awards at a private event on Tuesday, May 23 at The Fairmont Dallas. The D CEO and ACG Mergers and Acquisitions Awards recognize the top deals in North Texas and the dealmakers who make them happen. Nominees were reviewed and selected by a panel of judges who are experienced leaders in the Dallas-Fort Worth business community.

These awards for NTT DATA Services and Steinheiser are tremendous achievements that reflect the impact of our ongoing partnership. We are excited to see what the future has in store for NTT DATA Services and look forward to continuing to assist the team with their communications needs!

How INBOUND changed my life…kind of

Never did I imagine the shear greatness of what was called INBOUND. What I thought would be a neat marketing conference in Boston turned into a theatrical debut of digital start-ups and glorified gurus surrounded by an atmosphere best compared to a stylish dance club. Entering into the huge conference arena, I could only think to myself, “I am ready to learn about marketing,” while bobbing my head to Beyoncé on the loudspeaker.

We’re Celebrating Our 1 Year Anniversary at Vitruvian Park

One year ago, our agency was busting at the seams. With the continuous growth in our business, we were hiring several new team members and running out of workspace for employees and conference rooms for client and internal meetings. After 15 years in the same building, it was clear we had outgrown our office. So we did what any smart company would do in this circumstance--we went shopping.
