Elizabeth Cornelius

Executive Vice President
Elizabeth knew from the time she was in high school that she wanted to work in public relations.  She was fascinated with media – but she didn’t want to be on-camera. Instead, her passion was putting someone else on a pedestal and working behind the scenes to create reputation magic. And she’s been doing it to the nth degree ever since.

Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus on PR at Texas A&M, and worked her way up through the ranks at three successful Dallas-area PR agencies ranging in size from a small marketing boutique to FleishmanHillard. When she joined HCK2 in 2004, she felt she had “found the best of both worlds” in a full-service, sophisticated, mid-sized shop that serves regional, national and international clients.
Over the years, Elizabeth's client experience has ranged from energy to finance to fashion and just about everything in-between. Now, Elizabeth is heavily engaged in strategic planning for clients and leading agency growth initiatives. She also serves on the board of IABC Dallas and is a member of Vistage. She holds advisory board positions at both her church and children’s schools.
We've embraced her decade-old nickname of Beef, and bestowed upon her the well-earned title of Dean of the HCK2 University program.
