The Trinity Trust
The Trinity River Corridor project, approved in 1998, began taking some of its first steps into realization when construction began on the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge in 2009. After an intense agency selection process by the Trinity committee, HCK2 was awarded the honor—and the challenge—of introducing the bridge to the citizens of Dallas.
The bridge was, and is, at the center of an undertaking rife with controversy. With the Trinity project quietly taking a beating in the press, the challenge for HCK2 was to pique interest in the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and drive traffic to an informative, user-friendly Web site that informed citizens about the bridge and what was to follow. The task was not to sway opinion, sugarcoat or take a defensive tone. There is a major landmark coming to Dallas, and whether you love or hate it, you can't deny the sense of anticipation surrounding it.
The "Suspense is Building" campaign was born.
