To sustain growth during the housing crisis, Centex selected HCK2 to manage a number of internal communications activities to introduce its recently refreshed brand to employees. To introduce a new set of core values, HCK2 designed image-driven posters, table tents, mouse pads and screen savers to be seeded throughout the Centex offices and created a special idea and activity kit rolling out each core value over a six-month period.

To re-enforce Centex’s strong cultural and ethical beliefs as a successful, character-driven company, HCK2 managed “The Centex Way”, an annual program that provides tools to assist its 8,500 employees in decisionmaking and day-to-day operations. Every element—including a handbook, promotional posters and company leadership guide—supported the new brand with a cohesive, unified theme.
