Oh, and about the BP website...
...it gets a 70/100 on Google's Page Speed tool and an 83 using YSlow, Yahoo's performance utility, with 12 external Javascript scripts that could be combined into one, eight external stylesheets that could be combined into one, and 36 external background images that could be combined with CSS sprites. And the markup could have fewer errors.
Which pretty much means BP's website is as slow and invalid as their crisis response.
Whose ass do we kick about that?
