The Scarlet and Black and White Letter
Over the holidays, the New York Times encountered a small hiccup to its editorial page – they completely forgot to validate its sources concerning some chick with political aspirations by the last name of “Kennedy.” Whoops!
The letter in question was supposed to be from the Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë who had a gripe about Sweet Caroline’s interest in Hilary’s vacated spot on Capitol Hill.
And, according to this snippet in HuffPo, “The Times said it was reviewing its procedures to avoid such an incident in the future.” My guess is said procedure will be a swift boot to the behind of whoever allowed this to slip.
