HCK2 Partners Earns City of Farmers Branch 3CMA’s “Award of Excellence”

(DALLAS) – North Texas-based integrated marketing communications firm, HCK2 Partners, is still earning awards for the City of Farmers Branch as its Web site redesign recently earned the national City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA’s) “Award of Excellence.”
“This national distinction among municipalities up to 40,000 is a validation of all the hard work, on the part of HCK2 working in concert with the Farmers Branch team, that went into the creation of our new Web site,” said Tom Bryson, director of communications for the city. “The citizens of Farmers Branch have a productive and efficient Web site that serves its growing needs and to be acknowledged for making our city better is a true honor.”
The Savvy Awards has awarded city and county communications and marketing efforts for 21 years, and “salute skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing.
The voting process took more than six months and Farmers Branch won the “Award of Excellence” among hundreds of entries across the country.
“Our work on this Web site never ceases to amaze us,” said CEO and Creative Director of HCK2 Heather Capps. “From heartwarming comments of citizens and business owners to receiving national recognition, this undertaking was worth every minute to create a ‘City in a Park’ online that was both technologically dynamic and visually pleasing.”
HCK2’s creative and interactive team implemented a muted palette of blues and greens that complemented the natural elements incorporated into the Web design, as well as coded the site according to modern W3C standards, which makes the site more stable, efficient, expandable and greatly improves search engine rankings.
This summer, the city was also honored at the 7th annual Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) luncheon with the coveted “Tech Services Award” (Municipalities up to 70,000).
